June Brantner Watercolor, oil, pastel Back to Gallery June Brantner, painter, is a native of the Fargo, ND and Moorhead, MN area. She began her professional career in the 1970's. At that time she was using pastel and watercolor. In 1979 she joined Gallery 4. She is now one of the owners of the gallery which is located in historic Downtown Fargo. June has displayed solo shows sponsored by such organizations as MeritCare Hospital, Hope Lutheran Church, Dakota Hospital Atrium and Rio Salado College. June's paintings have been featured in area and national shows, and she is the recipient of numerous awards. June studied art at Concordia College, Moorhead, MN and at the Minneapolis School of Art and Design. She has continued her studies with such nationally recognized artists as Charles Reid and Jan Kunz. Even though June has now expanded into oils and abstract acrylics, she continues to love working with watercolors and pastels. She has a special love of painting people.
